Up & Running It's official, they're off, the race has begun! 1 Corinthians 9:24b-25 says, "Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." We decided to run the race as Children's Ministries Coordinators, because we wanted to see the Children’s Ministry at Central Assembly of God continue strong. We believe that it's important to provide opportunities for children to learn godly principles, develop good habits, and nurture their commitment to Him so they'll share God's love with the lost in their world. We also believe that having a quality ministry will be an attraction to new families. In order to run a good race, it takes months of planning and training. We were fortunate to have plenty of time to get a team together and make preparations for a smooth pass of the baton. We knew we couldn't accomplish this in our own strength and are reliant on God's help and those who've volunteered to help make it a reality.
